Melanotan II (MT2) is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide analogue of alpha-MSH with potent agonist activity at MC1R, MC3R, MC4R, and MC5R. Originally synthesised at the University of Arizona, it has been studied extensively in pigmentation, body composition, and metabolic research. MT2 is structurally related to PT-141 (Bremelanotide) and shares the melanocortin receptor binding mechanism. NewChem's MT2 is independently HPLC verified at ≥99% purity.
Add 2 mL bacteriostatic water for 5,000 mcg/mL. MT2 is light-sensitive — protect from UV exposure.
