Epithalon (Epitalon; Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) is a synthetic tetrapeptide analogue of the natural peptide Epithalamin, isolated from the bovine pineal gland. Developed by Vladimir Khavinson at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, Epithalon has been studied for its ability to activate telomerase — the enzyme that elongates telomeres — in somatic cells. Published research includes studies on telomere length, melatonin regulation, and lifespan in multiple animal models.
Add 2 mL bacteriostatic water for 5,000 mcg/mL. Epithalon dissolves readily.
